LOVE SONG is the ending theme song of the Fist of the North Star 2 anime, performed by the rock band TOM★CAT. It is paired with TOUGH BOY, which is the part's opening theme.
Ending Animation[edit]
The ending begins with a shot of a starry night sky, scrolling down until it reveals Rin standing on a rocky cliffside. She turns around and begins walking, the cliffside behind her disappearing.
It fades to a shot of Rin, sitting down in front of a fire and burying her face in her knees. Several ruined buildings are in the background. It changes to a shot of Rin, now sitting more up and showing her face. She has a very saddened expression and keeps her eyes closed. It again shows the night sky, now with fewer stars, and eventually, a shooting star falls down. Now dawn begins to break.
It cuts back to Rin, her fire now extinguished. She begins to pull her head back up to see the sunlight and begins to smile. A timelapse of the sun rising amidst various destroyed buildings is then shown. Rin stands up and turns around to smile at the camera.
