Kohryu (コウリュウ, Kōryū) is an old rival of Ryuken who was once a contender to be the 63rd sucessor of Hokuto Shinken, but ceded to live a more ascetic life. Raoh goes to duel him to prove he is stronger than Ryuken after recovering from his previous fight against Kenshiro.

Appearance[edit]

Kohryu is a tall man with a heavily muscular build. He has light, about shoulder-length, messy hair and a full beard and mustache, and thick eyebrows. He wears a headband with a gemstone at its center.

He wears a jacket-like shirt with no shirt underneath it and bandages on his waist. He has a necklace that goes over his abs and bracelets on both wrists. He wears pants with boots and a long loincloth over them.

Shichisei Massatsu (七星抹殺, lit. "Seven Star Obliteration") is a powerful suicide technique Kohryu uses to defeat Raoh during their duel. It was countered by Raoh, who breaks his hands with a single punch.
