“
Say my name!! (俺の名を言ってみろ!!)
”
—Jagi's catchphrase
Jagi (ジャギ Jagi) is the second youngest of the sons adopted by Ryuken and believed that siblings must respect their elders and that it would be unforgivable for a younger brother to surpass an older one. He was looked down on for his dirty tactics such as relying on a shotgun or spitting needles and wanted to become the next successor of Hokuto Shinken at any cost.
Appearance[edit]
Jagi is a man of slightly above-average height and a heavily muscular build. He always wears a helmet that covers all his facial features except his eyes as his face was horribly disfigured by Kenshiro in a duel they had in the past.
He is almost always depicted as shirtless except for a spiked, sleeveless jacket that exposes his self-inflicted scars in the shape of the Big Dipper that imitate Kenshiro's, and metallic fingerless gloves and arm braces. He wears pants with a belt and a groin guard with spiked metallic boots and knee guards.
In the past, it is shown that Jagi had a normal face with slanted eyes and upward spiked hair that shows much of his forehead.
Personality[edit]
Jagi often uses underhanded tricks to beat his oppentents instead of fighting fairly, which is what ultimetly lead to his defeat at the hands of his younger brother Kenshiro. His jealously for Ken becoming the successor of Hokuto Shinken is what defines his and his many attempts to ruin Ken's life are detailed during their fights and in the numerous flashbacks involving the two of them.

Relationships[edit]
Family[edit]
- Kenshiro: Jealous of Ryuken's selection of Ken to be the next Hokuto Shinken successor, Jagi impersonated Ken to do evil. Thinking that a little brother could never surpass an older one, he wanted to fight Ken and prove himself worthier, but always lost. When Ken scarred Jagi's face after a battle in their past, he declared to one day get revenge on Kenshiro.
Enemies[edit]
- Rei: Although Jagi and Rei did not properly meet each other, Jagi was the one who was responsible for kidnapping Rei's sister Airi. Rei despised him for it and made it his goal to find him and tear him apart.
Others[edit]
- Shin: It was revealed that Jagi was the one who had convinced him to take Yuria from Kenshiro. When Jagi revealed this information to Ken, he became enraged.
