Liu Zheng[edit]

Liu Zheng (劉正 Liú Zhèng) is the 21st successor of Hokuto Shinken. He is mentioned by Kenshiro Kasumi's father who had trained him in the martial art.

This contradicts the full series' continuity as Ryuken is the 63rd successor and was trained by his brother Kasumi.

Rin's Village's Elder (リンの村の長老 Rin no Mura no Chōrō) is the elder of Rin's village. He has Kenshiro imprisoned because he thinks he's a member of Zeed. Later, when Ken defeats Zeed, he recognizes his Hokuto Shinken.

Misumi (ミスミ Misumi) is an elderly man attempting to bring rice seeds back to his village. He is attacked by Spade and saved by Kenshiro, who escorts him back to his village. When Spade attacks them again he is killed and Ken plants the rice seeds over his grave.

He is renamed Smith (スミス Sumisu) in the anime.

Mageko (まげ子 Mageko) is a young girl forced to hold up her father, whose neck is in a noose, to keep him from being hanged by Diamond. Kenshiro frees both of them from their predicament and defeats Diamond.

She was only named in the DD Fist of the North Star 2 + Strawberry Flavor anime.

Buro (ブロウ Burō) is a thug who causes a ruckus at Johnny's bar in Oasis. Claiming to be very strong, he challenges Kenshiro to a fight and loses. He is left to honestly work for his food like all the other people.

He was only named in Fist of the North Star Online.

The Major (少佐 Shōsa) is a Golan member who used a razor-sharp garrote to decapitate anyone who tired to save the women they were kidnapping. He fights Kenshiro who pressed a pressure point that forced him to decapite himself with his own weapon.

Taki (タキ Taki) is a child taken in by Toyo who travels to Oasis in search of water, where he reunites with Bat. His vision is deteriorated by the sun after wandering for so long and is saved by Kenshiro when he almost passes out asking if he was "God". When they travel to Toyo's village, he tries to sneak away to find clean water again, but is shot by a thug with a crossbow, ultimatley killing him.

In the Legend of the True Savior series he is renamed Kaito (カイト Kaito).

Aki (アキ Aki) is a young boy, who while helping his crippled brother Mako accidentally bumps into one of Jagi's followers. The henchman says Mako will have to pay with his life, but Aki offers one of his legs to be sacrificed instead. Aki standing up for his older brother angers Jagi, who takes him and chains him to a rock in the middle of the desert.

Mako (マコ Mako) is a crippled young boy who requires help from his brother Aki. After he accidentally bumps into one of Jagi's followers, he is separated from his brother.

Later, he shoots Kenshiro with a crossbow thinking he is Jagi and Ken takes the arrow to the real Jagi.

Mitsu (ミツ Mitsu) is the younger brother of Raiga and Fuga. He is held captive by Uyghur to corerce his older brothers into serving him and Kenoh. When Raiga and Fuga join Kenshiro, Uyghur tries to execut him by having his falcon attack him and he accepts his death, but spares him saying that there's no fun in killing a man who's prepared to die

Uyghur's Falcon (ウイグルのファルコン Uiguru no Farukon) is a falcon belonging to Uyghur. He uses it to execute Mitsu when Raiga and Fuga ally themselves with Kenshiro, but kills it by ripping of its beak with his whip when Mitsu accepts his death.

Seki ( Seki) is Galf's pet dog, resembling a bulldog. He would bark to indicate if someone who wronged one of the dogs in Medicine City should be executed. After Galf is fatally injured by Kenshiro, he unrinates on Galf's body as he begs for help.

Bull (ブル Buru) is a captain in the Holy Emperor's army who goes out to kidnap children to become slaves. He is quickly disposed of by Shu and the Resistance as they meet Kenshiro.

Ryo (リョウ Ryō) is a young member of the Resistance who eats food poisioned by the Holy Emperor's troops. Shu detects the poison in the food too late, and Ryo dies in his father's arms.


Flamethrower Man[edit]

The Flamethrower Man (火炎放射器男 Kaenhōshaki Otoko) is a member of the Holy Emperor's army who has armed himself with a flamethrower. He uses it to dispose of anyone who doesn't submit to the Holy Emperor and calls it "sterilization". Kenshiro takes the flamethrower from him and kills him with it.


Beji and Giji[edit]

The Beji and Giji (ベジとギジ Beji to Giji) are members of the Holy Emperor's army who Souther summons to fight Kenshiro. They are masters of the Nanto Sozanken martial art and begin to juggle daggers trapping him, but Ken presses their 'Jikyukyo' pressure point causig them to lose their depth persecption. They throw the knives at each again, accidently killing each other.

They were only named in the TV anime.

Rem (レム Remu) is a young boy inspired by Shu who stabs Souther in the leg with a nail during his ascent of the Holy Cross Mausoleum. Souther uses him as an example of how love can drive people mad.

In the anime his nail is replaced with a knife.

In Strawberry Flavor, Souther calls him "Turban Brat".


Zeus and Aus[edit]

Zeus (ゼウス Zeusu) and Aus (アウス Ausu) are the sons of Kohryu. They try to take on Raoh after he kills their father, but Raoh strangles both of them. Raoh spares them, saying that because they're brothers they should go their seperate ways so that they don't end up like him and his brothers.

Zengyo (ゼンギョウ Zengyō) is the servant of Kohryu who informs Toki and Kenshiro of his master's death at the hands of Raoh and that his sons are also trying to take him on.


Double-Mast Shachi[edit]

The Double-Mast Shachi (双胴の鯱 Sōdō no Shachi) is Akashachi's pirate crew and a faction of Kenoh's Army. 100 of their members were slaughtered by the Nameless Shura when they tried to dock at the Land of Shura, forcing them to abandon Shachi. They agree to help Kenshiro if he can reunite them with Shachi.


Sha and Zan[edit]

Sha ( Shā) and Zan ( Zhǎn) are two Shura warriors loyal to Kaiser. He pits them against Shachi, who dodges their simultaneous attack and lands a fatal punch on one of them, killing him. The other one tries to run away, but is killed by Kaiser for his cowardice.


Kaioh's Horse[edit]

Kaioh's Horse (カイオウの馬 Kaiō no Uma) is a mighty war horse belonging to Kaioh, comparable to Kokuoh. He steps on Shachi's left arm, causing it to get torn off and carries the unconscious Rin after Kaioh strikes her Shikanhaku pressure point.

Shume (シュメ Shume) is the mother of Shuken who gave birth to him the same day her sister Oka gave birth to Ryuo. She was suffering from an illness so Oka took care of Shuken for her. When high preists forbade the existance of two male heirs and their children were put on a trial against hungry wolves, she interferred to save Shuken, causing him to automatically lose. Oka then comitted suicide by jumping off the cliff so that Shuken would win, and he went on to found Hokuto Shinken.

Oka (オウカ Ōka) is the mother of Ryuo who gave birth to him the same day her sister Shume gave birth to Shuken. Since Shume was ill, she took care of Shuken for her. When high preists forbade the existance of two male heirs and their children were put on a trial against hungry wolves, Shume interferred so that Shuken would win. Oka then committed suicide by jumping off of the cliff so that Shuken would win, and he became the founder of Hokuto Shinken

Shuken (シュケン Shuken) is the founder of Hokuto Shinken and the son of Shume, born on the same day as his cousin Ryuo. High preists forbade the existence of two male heirs to the clan, so they left him and Ryuo exposed to a pack of starving wolves so that the surviving child would be their successor. His mother interferred with the trial, automatically making Ryuo the victor, but Ryuo's mother Oka sacrificed herself so he could be the successor.

Ryuo (リュウオウ Ryuuou) is the son of Oka, born on the same day as his cousin Shuken. High preists forbade the existence of two male heirs to the clan, so they left him and Shuken exposed to a pack of starving wolves so that the surviving child would be their successor. Shuken's mother Shume interferred with the trial, automatically making Ryuo the victor, but his mother sacrificed herself so Shuken could be the successor. Growing up without a mother then cursed his desdants of Kaioh, Raoh and Toki to be fated to have the same lost love.
